Watch for your redetermination forms in the mail from the State of Illinois. You can attend one of the redetermination events. They will get copies of your renewal forms and help you submit them. Details are found on the flyer below:
The Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control (ARC) has announced its 2023 Partners in Prevention clinic locations. ARC is partnering with local animal organizations to offer low-cost or free 1-year rabies vaccines and microchips.
Clinics are available to Cook County dogs and cats. Please bring proof of residency (driver's license or state ID) with you.
Please note: some clinics are available to dogs only as noted in the clinic description and on the flyer. Microchips are administered for free at all clinics and there is no registration fee. For more information about the microchips used, please visit: www.avidid.com

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mayor Alice Gallagher of Western Springs. Having the pleasure of working collaboratively alongside her on several issues, Alice Gallagher was always thoughtful, diligent, and especially kind when engaged in her civic responsibilities as mayor. I saw firsthand how strongly devoted Mayor Gallagher was to her community of Western Springs.
She leaves behind a legacy of unwavering commitment to her community and an exceptional record of public service. Her leadership will be missed. My deepest condolences go out to her family at this most difficult time.
