The chaos in downtown Chicago on Friday night is yet another glaring example of what happens when radical leftist policies replace law and order with "social justice" experiments. For over eight years, progressive Democrats have prioritized criminals over law-abiding citizens, dismantling policing, eliminating consequences for bad behavior, and turning major cities into playgrounds for lawlessness.
These policies - soft-on-crime initiatives, cashless bail, defunding police, and a complete disregard for accountability - have failed at every level. Who suffers? Hardworking residents, business owners, and families who simply want to live in a safe and functional society. Instead, they are forced to watch their cities deteriorate into lawless free-for-alls, while elected officials refuse to acknowledge their failures.
When will sane leadership return? When will we elect adults who understand that public safety is non-negotiable? Until that happens, we can expect more of the same - more destruction, more violence, and more citizens left to fend for themselves while radical politicians make excuses.
Enough is enough!
